During the Celtic New Year the Celts would put out food and drink for the dead that were returning, the Celts would also leave their doors, windows, and gates unlocked so that the dead would have an easy way to get into their homes. The fun side to the Celtic New Year is when the young would be able to go out and roam around the outside with strange disguises. The young would pretend to be those dead spirits that were coming from the Otherworld.
The Celtic New Year may seem different to you and believe it or not some are actually against the Celtic New Year. Perhaps those that are against the Celtic New Year should read more about it and see that it really is not a bad thing.

New years is a memory that is worth remembering so people like to choose one that's also best for your partner.
