This is because the festive season coupled with the free times that people have at their disposal during the holiday season often lead them to get to shop. This leads also to advance bookings at parks, cinema halls and other places. Often plans to enjoy during New Years Eve and other holidays go bust dour to tickets not being available in these days. These days are hence best planned in advance along with the buying of tickets to parks and other places where you intend to spend your days. Thus, if you want to enjoy on new years, plan it in advance.

There are many ways to wish people on a new year. The good old greeting card is often the most widely used way of wishing people. Cards come in different shapes and forma and can be personalized to suit the tastes of the sender. This is what makes them ideal to be used as a way of wishing someone on New Year's eve. Other ways include calling up the person to wish him. However many of us don't do this and are content with just sending across the greeting card. This also has much to do with the costs involved in making calls over longer distances. Also, we do not call up everyone and sundry.
The calls are reserved only to the few people whom we consider our near and dear ones and who matter the most to us. The most widely used way of sending across the wishes then , is to send across a text message to the person you intend to wish. A text message has the distinct advantage of being quite cheap as compared to sending across cards and making phone calls. Also, this way of wishing people involves less efforts and hence has been widely accepted the world over.
The most text messages sent on new years are forwarded messages. Forwarded messages imply messages which originate at one particular number and are then forwarded by the receiver to his other friends and relatives. Text messages are widely forwarded. This is because it doesn't involve much effort on the part of the person forwarding it. |

If you are trying to sleep around your area on the last day of December you can count on being woke up as soon as that clock strikes 12AM. You will more than likely be woken up by a group of fireworks going off in your area by a lot of people yelling "Happy New Year!" Chances are you already know this because it has probably happened to you before as everyone was experiencing a New Years countdown.
On the last day of December have you ever been fast asleep and when the clock strikes midnight (New Year) the telephone rung? Don't worry, this is generally happens to a lot of people who do not go out and party for a New Year countdown. Yes, we have all experienced waking up to answer the telephone, being half asleep and hearing "Happy New Year" being shouted in our ear by a person that is obviously wide awake, yes, this can be very annoying but we still try to be nice about it.
In conclusion, during the New Year countdown if you do not attend any parties during the last day of December you will either be staying at home enjoying it with your spouse and kids or sleeping and if you are sleeping you should turn that phone off so you will not be awaken by "Happy New Year!"
