If you are trying to sleep around your area on the last day of December you can count on being woke up as soon as that clock strikes 12AM. You will more than likely be woken up by a group of fireworks going off in your area by a lot of people yelling "Happy New Year!" Chances are you already know this because it has probably happened to you before as everyone was experiencing a New Years countdown.

On the last day of December have you ever been fast asleep and when the clock strikes midnight (New Year) the telephone rung? Don't worry, this is generally happens to a lot of people who do not go out and party for a New Year countdown. Yes, we have all experienced waking up to answer the telephone, being half asleep and hearing "Happy New Year" being shouted in our ear by a person that is obviously wide awake, yes, this can be very annoying but we still try to be nice about it.

In conclusion, during the New Year countdown if you do not attend any parties during the last day of December you will either be staying at home enjoying it with your spouse and kids or sleeping and if you are sleeping you should turn that phone off so you will not be awaken by "Happy New Year!"
